Show THE Page Four LITTLE MAN ON CAMPUS Friday March EAGLE GOLDEN our basketball be need to “men” recognized for what they ARE not what we Our “men” dream of Our basketball “men” range from an estimated 5’ 10” tall to a gigantic 6’6” tall! The reason I have to estimate the height is because when I wanted to measure the team I couldn’t find a foot ladder and to have some of them only measured to their bcl'y buttons would have been quite humorous I have another comparison for the idols of our “men” Their shoe sizes range from a size 8 to a size 1IV4 with an average sock size of stretch sock Now behind every great basket-bn- 'l team is a coach so here’s the general layout of the coach of our “men” He's maybe 5’U" 10-1- 1 tall light brown hair (light meaning quantity) with a shoe size of 9V4- - Back to our men CEU By Steve Puchall What the heck is this world coming to? What is our society headed for? There are a lot of questions we can ask ourselves But the thing is we can't answer them Life is easy to live if we can survive We all have differ ent environments we all live with different kinds of people We have to contend with each other Life is hard yes but we are going to have to live with it We are going through school now planning a future The future holds so much for us to think about For some of us service to our country or church is in contemplation And for some of us also marriage has already been considered My problem is that I want to live happy and contented as I've lived for the past 20 years There are so many people trying to change things for us We do need a change in some things because after a while we could stand a little bit of change It's a purpose for society to have change but I think too many people arc going about it in the wrong way I want to live and be happy My parents gave me life They took me in under their wing and brought me up I don't really sec all that they’ve done for me hut it’s the same for them and their parents I want to help our society hero in America to get back on its road There are too many ideas trying to change the world The question is “How?” Still we have no answer Everywhere a person turns he sees contention he secs hate but what can he do about it? Nobody cares about anybody else It seems as though too many people have 'T'ytist I care I take pride in America and want to help The true kind of everyone heartfelt love is hard to find But if a person keeps searching he can find it even within himself Our society is going to have to learn to love life to live life Of course nobody wants to die But unfortunately we do some violently and some naturally When I die I die Some of us feel unwanted like a brick in a wall and what is one brick that ends up missing? The thing is that one brick gives support to everything else And it really matters whether somebody goes or not We all make up this society and it's our ideas which help to keep it going Love and let live If something like this bores you you're not fit to be human You should occupy some lower form of life Be glad that you were bom a human Re glad vom horn now this time and station of human civilizations Whatever lumpens to you in the future is your problem Are you going to fight or surrender to the future? See another question! We're have to answer our own to going questions we're the ones that brought them up let's all face this life with a smile today because tomorrow you might not he here Live it with optimism You can help if you'll be yourself ami if you don't want to conform— don't Remember— wer’re all human! 1171 A Tribute To Our Basketball Men By Lindarae Gerrard Remember We're All Human I Dr John come in various sizes shapes and altogether (get it!) gorgeous Although they didn't win all the basketball games they sure won the hearts of the observers Especially the hearts of the girls (now doesn't that sound natural?)
