Contact Mr Brent West in Ruom 126 CEU Administration building Cheerleader Leaves CEU Wednesday (XU said goodby me of its best cheer leaders Larry Olsen Larry is leaving us to go to San Francisco where he will be serving in the airforce Larry is a graduate from Cyprus High where he participated in the Drama club We will miss Larry but know he’ll do a great job for our country and represent CEU well to Thomas J Holdaway a new student at the College of Eastern Utah has recently been appointed as the new Editor of the Golden Eagle Tom who has just returned from serving a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-da- y Saints has reorganized the newspaper staff and is making plans for expanding the Golden Eagle to include a wide variety of subjects including academic social and sports activities In doing this Tom says the support and help of the student body as well as the support of the community is needed to make the Golden Eagle an interesting informative and appealing newspaper for both the student body and the public Tom was bom in Price and has resided here most of his 21 years He lives south of Price on Highway 10 with his family which include his parents Thomas R Holdaway said Anna Belle Holdaway his brothers Rodney William Holdaway and Timothy Hap old Holdaway and his sisters Anna Lee Holdaway and Penny Holdaway Tom is majoring in Business and plans to go into the area of Business Organization and Management He hasn't decided which type of business he would like to work in but is currently working for Walker Bank and Trust Co in Price and says he enjoys it very much Golden Eagle Student of Month The CEU newspaper will be paying tribute to the outstanding male and female students each month through the remaining editions of this year Students are encouraged to submit the names of their classmates who have ex- who have celled academically rendered outstanding service to who have demonthe school strated expertise in a given area etc Names should be submitted to Studcnthody Pros co Dean of Students office Tom Holdaway: New Editor of CElTs Golden Eagle |
