construct the "E" were made Students of CEU first began to hear about the mystery during homecoming week It was to have its debut on November the eleventh as a climax to Homecoming mystery was over event has grown Last year’s event CEU 1967 the Speech Department played host to 1035 eager participants This great number of participants is too largo for one department to handle It was decided that the meet must either be restricted or limited or more poplc assist with the preparation and administration of the event The recommendation was taken under assignment by Dr Tucker and the Administrative Council The Council concluded that the high school meet does and can do beneficiary things for the college in the way of letting high school students acquaint themselves with our college and possibly helps with student recruitment Therefore it was recommended by the Council that the entire college sponsor the meet In this way the burden would be somewhat lifted from the Speech Department The Speech Deepartment will still need to take the lead in organizing and making the necessary preparation However faculty members and personnel will have artive important and necessary roles with the successful operation of the meet |
