newest teachers Norman Larsen Mr Larsen who is from Spring Canyon tenches physics advanced mathematics intermediate algebra and chemistry well-know- Carbon Loses Top Student By TOM SMITH The death of Jerry Leonard last Monday grieved his many friends and acquaintances He had won the respect and admiration of those who knew him especially for the fortitude he displayed during his long illness Early in his illness it was found necessary to amputate his leg This did not dampen his spirits and he carried on with unusual courage despite his spreading disease He was one of the most talented drummers ever to play in the popular Jimmy Dart Orchestra and he will always be remembered by his associates in those endeavors As recently as New Year’s Eve he entertained with his usual skill and vigor Memories of Jerry Leonard will endure in the hearts of those PATTY DUNN who were fortunate enough to know him well His kind and thought ful ways made him one of Carbon's most beloved personalities
