Show Volume 21 All-Sta- te CARBON COLLEGE Chorus Conference Nears "I can hardly wait" is the expression used by many of the high school students of Carbon who arc anticipating a trip to Salt Lake City October 12 13 and 14 for the Chorus Conference Last spring students put in their applications to go and with the beginning of school they have been practicing six numbers that will be used in the conference The students from Carbon will leave Wednesday morning October 12 and will begin practice the same day Thursday will be devoted to practicing and Friday the chorus will sing at the general session of the Utah Educational Association in the Latter-da- y Saints tabernacle J Spencer Cornwall director of the tabernacle choir will direct this chorus which will consist of students from many schools over the state Students from Carbon lhat expect to make the trip arc: Diane Bean Diane Broadbcnt Charlene Anderson Jeanne Wooton Wilene Carman!
