sopranos Juanita Robertson Myr-n- a Williams altos Allan Jacob LaMar Day tenors Nedd McArthur Bob Leonard basses and Margaret Thompson accompanist will present several programs on lour in the next two weeks On April 29 they will perform at Duchesne Altamont and Union high schools They arc scheduled to be in North and South Emery on May 3 and on May 6 in Green River and Moab The completion of the tour will be on May 7 at the Monticello and Blanding schools The programs will consist of mixed double and male quartets girls' trios solos by Carol Ann McFall piano solo by Geneva Larsen and several skits and dialects According to Mr Orgill the function of this tour is to sell Carbon College to students who arc eligible to attend here next year — Award Schedule Campaign Rules Stated Nominees Selected The following rules have been released by the office to aid the campaigning: 1 No writing or painting on sidewalk or buildings 2 To attach signs or posters on colotox use thumb tacks on painted walls masking tape 3 Gasses are not to be disturbed 4 There is to be no mud slinging at opposing candidates 3 Maximum cost to be spent on campaigning is not to exceed $15 for each party 6 A campaign assembly will be held prior to elections Each party will be allowed 20 minutes There is to be no vulgarism or risque jokes Participants for the assembly may be excused 1st period before assembly time 7 Each party is responsible for cleaning up signs and posters from the buildings and campus after elections 8 There are to be no compaign signs 10 feet from the voting polls which will be in the faculty room Announced State Education Categories in which points may be accumulated for activity medals according to Miss Mary Margaret Flaim arc as follows: Officers publicat ions speech activities and general sciences band chorus orchestra cheer and song leaders and homecoming The winners of activity medals this year for the lower division will be eight senior boys and eight senior Ni-w- Good Will Tour Proves Sucessful Friday April 16 twelve Carbon students conducted a good will tour at various Utah colleges and high schools The students toured the schools in couples They were Ann Bunnell and tarry Regis Kazuko Niwa and Bryce Peacock Juanita Dec Olsen and Doug Holbrook Miller and Barbara Turner Dominic Albo ami Rex Guymon and Shirley Ann Fazzio ami Richard Saccomano The delegates attended South Jordan ami Olympus high schools ami Brigham Young University University of Utah and Weber College respectively According to Richard Saccomano the welcome given the Carbon
