Show The Carbonlcle PI GAMS OPEN SEASON Vocal Groups Organize WITH SLEEPER Mr Tom B Turbyfill’s glee club elected its officers last Wednesday Chosen were Lynne Mills president JoAnn Hixon secretary and LaRene Winters reporter Those officers for the chorus were Claude Williams president Anita Drossis secretary and Allen Jacob reporter During the past week students from glee and chorus have had the opportunity to conduct and accompany songs that are being learned for future programs Those who were chosen for this year's sextet from the glee were Pat McCourt Faye Miller sopranos LaRene Winters Juanita Robertson second soprano Myr-n- a Williams and Loretta Cowan altos The accompanist is Katherine Drossis The male quartet chosen from the chorus includes Claude Williams and Bob Cones basses and Allan Jacob and Larry Thayn tenors Monday night marked the Pi Gams' progressive dinner and slumber party The group was served cocktails by Joyce Forrester and salad by Julie McGuire and Marian Worth-c- n Italian spaghetti cooked by (Mrs James Besso was served by “Gus" Shilaos at the cafeteria followed by an ice cream treat at the Milky Way by Joanne Fassio Everyone "retired” to the gym where skits were presented The prize skit was given by Louise Bryncr Donna Stowcll Louise Marchino Margaret Thompson and Joyce Gardner The group was sung to sleep by Alton Smith The next morning the girls were served a pancake breakfast by sh Beat Parsons!
