Show BEES: Beaver County Monitor PAGE 3 MARCH Beaver County Sheriff's Report Week of March 2-8, 1998 *A Milford man was arrested by Minersville American Legion Auxiliary Hssay Contest Winners Beaver County Sheriff's Department and booked into jail on charges of Intoxication. *A Los Angeles, California, man was arrested and brought to Beaver The Minersville American Legion Auxiliary held a Presidents Day Program at Minersville Elementary on Feb. 17, 1998. The winners of the Americanism Essay contest were announced. President of the Auxiliary is Eleanore Marshall and County Jail on a warrant out of Fifth District Court. *An incident of Criminal Mischief is under investigation at Elk Meadows. *A Las Vegas, Nevada, man was oe : co-chairman Sherry Lynn Taylor. Judges for the event were Ken & Ruth Knight. Musical numbers were performed and the first place winners, Shaundra Pearson, Zachary Hollingshead, and arrested by Utah Highway Patrol (UHP) and booked into jail on charges of Possession of : feedhiae oe Aee mwnge Methamphetamine, Possession of marijuana with Intent to Distribute, Jennifer Craw read their essays. The American Legion would like to thank the students and teachers for supporting the essay program. and possession of drug Paraphernalia. *The Sheriff’s Department arrested a Beaver man and booked him into jail Left tc right; 5-6 grade First Place winner Zachary Hollingshead, 3rd Place winner Kolby Bailey, and 2nd Place winner Amanda Pearson. on charges of Misdemeanor Theft following an incident at High Country Amoco, Beaver. *A Milford man was booked into jail on charges of Misdemeanor Theft. *UHP arrested an Aspen, Colorado, man. He was booked into jail on charges of Possession of Marijuana and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. *Two juveniles were referred to Juvenile Court following a joyriding incident. 12, 1998 | *Two incidents of burglary are under investigation at Elk Meadows. *A Beaver man was arrested by the Sheriff's department and booked into jail on charges of driving Under the Influence of Alcohol, Open Container, and No Driver License. *A Minersville man was arrested by the Sheriff's department and booked into jail on charges of Driving on Suspension and Possession of Marijuana. *Citations for supplying Alcohol to Minor and Illegal Consumption ‘of Alcohol by Minor were issued following a traffic stop on Milford Flat. *An incident of Assault is under investigation at Elk Meadows. *Misdemeanor theft was reported in Beaver. accidents were _ *Six traffic investigated during the week by the Sheriff's Department, each with only property damage. *Responses were made to 51 requests for assistance. Of these calls, one was to keep the peace, 26 were to check out suspicious persons or circumstances, and 17 to assist other agencies. *Twenty-one traffic stops were made with 13 citations issued.
