With all girls in his and Ruth's family, I can see why girls hold a priority and rightfully so. He has worked on the baseball sports recreation complex and put in many hours of volunteer work. He has helped organize many fourth of July activities and was instrumental in the fund raising for the family of Max Thompson who was stricken with cancer a few years ago. Both he and Ruth have cleaned up yards, shoveled side walks and taken meals to older citizens in their neighborhood. Our town is a better place because of all our volunteers who contribute.
