Susan Camp of D.U-P. ; had started before marriage. Though not so unusual today, in that era it was remarkable for a woman with children at home to go back to school, but she had the full support of her family in doing it. She taught school for twenty years at Milford Elementary, and has seen at least two generations of her students grow, develop and take their place as community, business and professional leaders. She developed a deep affection for the young people of Milford, rejoicing at their successes and sharing their sorrow or pain. She has always been active in her church, doing what she loved best; teaching. At holidays, she gave much of her free time to making or cooking things for needier people. It is not accomplishments that are important to Ina Norton, but experiences, such as these, that have a deeper meaning.
