County. Scholarship Pageant Committee. 2K Jodi Erickson and her brother, Cody eicksén, served as Mistress and Master of Ceremonies for the Wednesday evening pageant. Additionally, Jodi ended her reign as Miss Beaver County by presenting her Miss Utah talent number, “The Woman in Me”. She gave a farewell tribute, with special thanks for support from the County. On the lighter side, there was a performance of “Any Man of Mine” by “Winya Judd” (Nancy Carter), “Fate Hill” (Mary Jo Holm) and “Denia Twain” (DeAnn Holm). Talent was definitely enhanced by humor. Fishing Report Minersville Reservoir: Fishing has been good the past two weeks. | Some good success has been reported trolling, casting and flyfishing with leech/bugger patterns. Rapalas have worked well for larger fish. Best success fishing deep and slow. Some big fish (up to 25 inches) reported recently. Try early morninig to avoid} the wind. The reservoir is now dropping and algae increasing butis still very fishable. Try near the dam or the boat ramp in deeper water. Remember special regulations: artificial flies and lures only, and limit of one fish, which must be at least 20 inches long. Beaver Mountain Lakes: Fishing is fair at middle Kent’s. Upae Kent’s is now open to fishing. Fisting there has slowed the past week. Fishing is good at Anderson Meadow and Labaron. Most lakes were stocked recently. Beaver River: Access is god. The river in Beaver Canyon is goodfishing for rainbow and brown trout up to 12 inches. Good hatches of caddis flies occur each evening. Catchable rainbows have been stocked in the canyon section as well as below Minersville Reservoir.
