The (Includes publis hearings on Ordinances 94-03, 94-04, & 94-05) The. Board of County Commissioners met on July 5, 1994 at 10:00 am. for its regularly scheduled meeting. Those present were Gary E. Sullivan, chairman; Chad W. . Johnson, member; Ross Marshall, member; Paul B. Barton, clerk; and Helen Christiansen, deputy clerk. Minutes of the June 6, 1994 meeting were read. It was moved by Comm. Marshall, seconded by Comm. Johnson and unanimously passed to approve the minutes. Comm. Sullivan reported that the parking lot at the Milford Hospital has been graveled. John Williams, from Five County Assoc. of Govt., met with the Board about work the on County private doing _ rights-of- -way. 75 to 80% of Utah is federally owned. The wilderness act has made it so the roads must be designated as rights-of-way to have access to public roads and submit the listing to UDOT to bring them under the protection of the State. If a road has been missed, it can be added later if the road was constructed under the 1866 grant. The State recognizes GIS maps and will pay for same. The maps should be submitted to property and neglecting the county roads. Comm. Marshall suggested that they would try to resurface a portion of the road next year.
