Feb IS 1973 She graduated from North Cache High School in Richmond and attended Utah State Agricultural College and received a Normal Teacher’s degree from Brigham Young College of Logan She taught school in Cove and at the Wheeler School in Lewiston She and her husband owned and operated several dairy farms in Trenton for one year Twin Falls Idaho for seven years and in Lewiston for 33 years The moved to Logan after retiring in 1961 She was an active member of the LDS Church having served as primary president in Twin Falls and on the Benson Stake Primary Board She served twice as relief society president of the Lewiston Third Ward the second time during the construction of the chapel and was responsible for organizing the daily volunteer workers She was a visiting teacher for over 65 years She was YWMIA and a teacher in president Sunday School primary and mutual She served with her husband as a Logan Temple officiator for 11 years and was a member of the Logan 18th LDS Ward She was active in genealogical research for over 60 years She served as a genealogical missionary for 23 years at the LoganCache Genealogical Library She completed several professional genealogical research courses from Brigham Young University in American and English Ancestral Research She taught genealogy classes both in Lewiston and Logan She was president of the Lewiston American Legion Auxiliary Post No 50 She was president of the Cache County Chapter of Gold Star Mothers She was an agent for Utah Cooperative Life Insurance Co She served on the Cache County Farm Bureau Auxiliary Board and assisted with community and home displays in conjunction with county fairs She was designated to teach courses in farm diversification during the Depression years She was active in the
