Myers, internationally known author, consultant, and authority on flotation and grinding practices has joined Denver Equipment Co. as a consultant. Previously Myers was with Tennessee Copper Company as Superintendent of Concentration. Myers, a graduate of Colorado School of Mines in 1913, brings to DECO his world of practical experience experience gained in solving problems that have sub- stantially increased flotation efficiency as known today throughout the world. His career in metallurgy started over 40 years ago. Myers service are a continuation of DECOS policy to provide consultation on metallurgical and processing problems. Daybreak Uranium tumbled following announcement of a proposed merger with Morning Sun Uranium but had recovered somewhat at weeks end. Stockholders will vote Thursday on the plan approved by directors. All Morning Sun assets would be taken over by Daybreak, with Morning Sun stockholders getting one share of Daybreak for each share of Morning Sun held. Daybreak capitalization would be upped from 3,000,000 to 10 000.000 shares of par, common stock. A total of Daybreak shares are outstanding, including 200,000 recently sold at 15 cents each under a public offering. Morning Sun has 2,532,000 shares out, including 700,000 sold to the public recently at 25 cents each. Daybreak is shipping uranium from its Dahl lease in the Mount Spokane district. Morning Sun is opening promising showings of of ore on its adthe same-typ- e joining ground and also on a nearby lease. The Morning Sun boundary is 90 feet east of the initial ore discovery at the Day10-ce- nt non-assess-ab- break.
