The meeting was held after Sergeant E. J. Stelnfeldt of the city's traffic department completed a survey of the condition existing with the present method of parking. He told a group of merchants most vitally Interested In the change, that It was virtually Impossible to keep traffic moving along Twenty-firs-t South street during rush hours due to the narrow lake' left for traffic after cars are parked both on the street and around the monument The problem of merchants and em ployees parking their Individual cars in front of their places of business for several hours at a time was also taken up and the merchants warned that if this practice exists, hour limit parking will he established in the dls trict, a thing the majority of mer chants do not want as it has been a big advertising feature for the dls trict to be able to say "Unlimited Parking." To assist in the latter problem, the traffic committee of the Sugar House Chamber of Commerce has a unuii printed reminder and it will be distributed In automobiles on the street this week. Topping the entertainment field this week, the benefit show staged by the tuxar House Lions club Wednesday evening wont off with a bang (or rather a kick), when tbe chorus of berurled and powdered Lions went through their tricks in dance routine. A complete program of music, dancing, fun and foolishness was present--- d during the evening, finishing up with the Lions chorus, which had been schooled by the Jean Renee Dancing school.
