Mormon, Vice Chairman of the Salt Lake County Democratic Committee announces his candidacy for the office of Secretary of State on the Democratic ticket. He was born in Cache County, Utah, and his early life was spent on the farm. He received his early) education at Logan and later attended school in the East. Mr. Monson's business was obtained experience during the years ho was engaged In the mercantile business during which time he wan elected City Recorder of Richmond, Utah on the Democratic and upon the expiration of his term of office he decided to onli; the field of Dentistry and received his degree of D. Mr. Monson is not only well known in Salt Lake City, but owing to political and legislative activities ii widely known all over the state.
