Show TIIE BULLETIN A CARNIVAL CELEBRATING OPENING OF PLAYGROUND The P. T. A. spongers a carnival to be held July 17th. Proceeds of which will be used for playground equipment for school. The events of the day will be as follows: childrens parade, supervised games on school grounds, races with prize awards and etc. Evening entertainment for adults to be held at East Mill Creek ward house will include vaudeville, concessions and dancing. The P. T. A. of Sherman school is cooperating with the Betterment League of this community to open a park and playground to be used the year round. One of the primary objects fostered by the P. T. A. was that of attempting to provide supervised recreational activities for children. Every effort is being made to obtain use of government funds which are being spent to give men employment for the purpose of beautifying schools and their surroundings and supplying this community supervising activity during the vacation period.
