Show Wednesday, March 20, 1974 THE PARK CITY ffils clinic Can it be? Why yes, its true! Jim Gaddis, of Salt Lake, pulled off a stunning upset victory over Stein Eriksen in the Employee Races held Tuesday, March 12. The format of the competition was changed to dual slalom races as opposed to the usual race against the clock. Mr. Eriksen placed second while Adolph was third in the Pro Class. In the A class for men, Tom Golden took top honors followed by Corky Clark. Third place went to Ron Carlisi. Jim Totora was first in the B class with Brad Mathews second and Harvey Cutler third. The C class competition winner was Bill Aas. Curt Graf was runner-u- p and Richard Van Buren finished in the show Im-bod- en position. The womens competition resulted in an A class victory for Debbie Waldear and a B class victory for Debbie Murphy. Second in the A group was Jan Davis while Judith Carlisi and Terry took second and third place respectively in the B class. All totaled, one hundred. and thirty racers turned out for. the. event, which was blessed by beautifully sunny weather. Beer was provided to calm the nervous contestants and quench the thirst of the COALITION & EXAM CERTIFIED OFFICIALS CLINIC AND EXAM WHAT: Certification for Course Setters, Chief Timers and Referees.
