Other first place finishers . were Doug Dean in the 85 lb. class and Rick Provost in the 128 lb. division. Coach Carlson, whose squad was weakened by concurrent Junior High basketball Tour- nament, complimented his young men on their fine performance. Early last week, Jerry Perrine of the i Rain Forest conducted a plant potting workshop for two hundred students at Marsac School. Jerry met with the students in small groups to show them how to care fen: and grow the small indoor plants. The students were given data sheets explaining the proper care and watering of their plant and each student moved his plant from a two and one half inch pot to a three inch pot using potting soil provided by the Rain Forest. ..HISS BOO... The opening night performance of The Secret of the Haunted Mill at the Park City Opera' House was greeted by long booing The story line revolves around Squire Corrigans plot to dispose of his wife, whose wealth he has already pilfered, and force marriage on the beauteous widow Norah, adding her wealth to his fortune. Standing between the Squire and the accomplishment of his dirty deed is the hero, Con ORegan, who is aided by Norahs love, Frank Dalton, and Bob Jackson from Scotland Yard. Con, a hardy soul, not only chases the caped Corrigan and Murty Joben, but also manages to find time to chase the skirt of heroine Maurine, maid of widow Norah, and her mother, Mrs. OKelly.
