Army Pretty Carrie Andersen sizes up this 15,000 pound bomb which is the most recent addition to the Tooele Army Depot. This is the largest single item of ammunition now being stored on the depot and it belongs to the Air Force. The 7V4 ton bomb is used by the Air Force to clear heavy most other. bombs it doesn't unlike and jungle terrain, create a crater when it explodes. Rather, its 12,600 pounds of explosives clears an area of approximately 100- - yards in diameter and does it clean enough for immediate use by troops. - |
