Add ground beef and cook 5 min. stir occasionally. Add tomato sauce, vinegar, dry mustard, brown sugar, salt, and pepper. Simmer about 5 minutes. Pour beans over mixture. Cover and simmer for 30 to 35 minutes. Upside Down Chicken Pie 6 tb. butter or margarine 6 tb. flour 1 tsp salt 34 tsp pepper 2'6 cups chicken broth 2 hard boiled eggs, sliced 2 cups cooked chicken pieces 1 4 oz. can mushrooms, stems and pieces, drained 2 tb chopped pimentos Melt butter in saucepan and blend in flour, salt, and pepper. Add broth gradually and cook until thickened. Stir constantly. Arrange sliced eggs in bottom of a greased 8 in. baking dish, cover this with rest of ingredients and pour over 1 cup of sauce. Keep hot while making crust. Biscuit Crust 136 cups sifted Hour 2 tsp baking powder 36 tsp salt V4 cup shortening i 36 cup milk Sift flour, baking powder, and salt together. Cut in shortening as for pie dough. Add ipijfc. blend thoroughly, and shape dough into ball. Pat or roll out to fit over baking dish and seal edges. Pierce with a fork several times. Bake at 450 degrees for 15 to 18 min. Invert on platter. Let stand 5 minutes before removing from baking dish. Serve with remaining sauce.
