Now press the pulp through a strainer to remove skins and seeds. Add sugar and cook until thick and clear. Iuur into hot, clean glasses or jars and seal. Juice & grated rind of orange. 1 cup seedless raisins. 2 cup nut meats Wash plums and remove pits. Tut through food chopper and measure. Now. cook all ingredients (except nuts) until thick and clear. Sprinkle with lemon juice, about 1 Isp per cup. Let stand until it forms a syrup. Boil slowly until thick. This outstanding little pamphlet was prepared by the Womens Division of the Flint, Michigan Safety Council, for the parents of the new first grader who walks to school.
