Edith is the daughter of the Melvin T Sherlyn SlerakowskU There are many ways to express the fun and excitement that went on the night of October 20th. This night was the night of nights for the Modem Language Club. Each section was represented that night. The French section had a typical sidewalk cafe. The Germans had a beer garden with pretty "Bier Kelnerins. " Michelle Morten-se- n portrayed a Russian gypsy fortuneteller in the Russian section. The Latin section had two white columns and a table set with fruits. The Spanish section had a pinata and a display of Mexican goods. The officers of the club are: Hilke Oepping, president; Jerry Tate, veep; Christina Thomas, secretary and Diana Burnett, treasurer. Mr. Good is the faculty sponsor of the club. The objective of the club is to promote appreciation of the various cultures throughout the world. The Men's Association is having their annual Mothers and Sons Night on November 7th. The theme of tne evening is "Beauty and the Beast." , The affair starts at 7:30 p.m. amfends at 9:30. West's lead was shortlived as Jerry. Fisher threw a touchdown pass to Dick Clark from W st's 20 yard line. Gary Jenson caught Fisher's pass in the end zone for tne extra point and the Titans were ahead 13 to 7. Titan Fisher cinched it up by passto ing tackle Tim O'Reilly, giving Olympus a victory of 19 to 7. Olympus Hi School's fourth attempe to win a game was successful last Friday afternoon as the Titans rolled over West Hi 19 to 7. Hero for the Olympus victory was Titan quarterback, Jerry Fisher. Fisher scored his TD in the first period on a quarterback sneak from the 2na yard line. The touchdown was a result of a drive started on the Titan 37 yard line. At the end of the first half, the score stood at Olympus 7 and West 0. Starting the second half, West's Pan Olympus tangles with Granite on Wilkinsons. They and now gave us the names last night (past midnight) we have to get this lil' ol' paper put to bed and can't find out what to publish because we lost all our notes. So. . .the secret is ours.
