It supposedly tells all beatle fans that one of the Immortal Four, Paul McCartney, is dead of dying. The general public seems to show discontent with the Beatles and disbelief toward rumors of this sort. Some are believers. Others think "may- be". Many dont care or just plain dont believe. The fact still remains, how- ever, that some very strange things have been in Beatle albums, album days later the "victim" of a Halloween charity prank. Salt Lake Citys own Johnny Ryder of KCPX Radio has presented much evidence on his nightly show based on research by the stations disc jockeys and information phoned in by listeners. Mimeographed copies of the findings have been made available free by the station. On the jacket of the Beatles lates LP, Abbey Road", John Lennon is dressed entirely in white, signifying heaven. Rlngo wears an English morticians suit. McCartney walks barefoot with his clothes. Brining up the rear is George Harrison, costumed as a grave digger. Violent death is mentioned in Hints of many Beatle songs. Pauls death can be found in some by playing them backwards. "Come Together", a hit from "Abbey Road", is said to contain the full story of Pauls life. Investigation into Beatle doings began after an editorial probing the subject appeared in a college newspaper. Since then, literally hundreds of thousands of people have joined the search for clues. Front page space of major newspapers had been filled in recent weeks with statements by reliable sources, such as McCartney himself, saying he is alive and well.
