Despain I mmmmmmemmmmmmmmesmmeimteigsstsmtitmm .V Editorial Friday, the last day for filing; Mrs. Nilene Eskelson filed for the House of Representatives from Legislative district 13. This seat in the . America, The Land Of Freedom America, the great land of liberty. The land of freedom. God Bless America! As we review current events daily we can become alarmed at what we read and hear. Yet we should recognize that we are living in trotible-som- e time, and in many areas of our country, too many tragic events are all too prevelent. Too many so called Americans are becoming in- -; volved with reform groups whose course involves them in destructive tactics, discord and bloodshed, Should this course continue, some revolutionary changes will be necessary. Who will save America? Surely all real Americans will unite to raise the standard of respect and consideration for officers of the law. Will assist, wherever and whenever possible, to lighten their load; adequately compensate them for sacrifices they make, and dangers they ace to preserve the peace and provide safety and security to the citizenry. GMC TRUCKS WHERE THE House is now held by Mrs. Della Loveridge, Democrat. Mrs. Eskelson is the wife of Allen C. Eskelson and they live at 354 East 3360 South. They are the parents of five children. They also have one grandchild. Mrs. Eskelson received her schooling in the Granite School District. She attended Blaine, Woodrow Wilson and Granite High Schools. Also, she attended Steven Career College. For the past two years she has been selling Real Estate for the Torkelsen Real Estate Brokerage Arm of 675 East 9th South. She also is a volunteer worker for the Salt Lake County Detention Center, and has given much time to Oils service for the past four years. She has served as vice chairman for the Republican Party in district 459 for the past two years. Her reason for entering politics and seeking the office as a legislator is interesting. From her experience in raising a family, and service in PTA and at the Juvenile Center she is convinced better legislation is needed to assist the schools and parents in a united crusade to reduce delinquency and crime. Also, school dropouts, stem from lack of parental support and good school counselling shebelives. Should the people favor her with their vote she promises to devote her. time to the task of implementing and supporting good legislation. , EXCHANGE PARTS CO. 44 E.
