Marked by one of the longest Broadway runs in history, the Rodgers and Hammerstein show tells the story of an English school teacher who agrees to tutor the wives and children of the King of Siam in the 1860s. Miss Morison inherited the role of Mrs. Anna from the late Gertrude Lawrence and added its success to her own triumph in Kiss Me, Kate, in which she starred at the U. in 1952. Her will be Jose Duval as the King and Dorothy Sarnoff as Lady Plans Hits sen and C. Lowell Lees who will handle music, ballet and drama, respectively. Companion hit will be Puccinis Madame Butterfly, which will run July 11, 13 and 14, starring Elaine Malbin and Thomas Hayward. Season ticket prices for both shows will be $1.50, $2, $3, $4 and $5. Single show performances, in the same seating order, will be $1, $1.50, $2, $2.50 and $3. Tickets are now on sale at the Summer Festival Box Office at the U., said Manager Gail Plummer.
