People who own, manage, or buy for a company with over $500,000 dollars in sales or more than five employees. All distributors and manufacturers. Medical groups. Certified Public Accountants. Insurance agencies. For the people on the list above we have an important message. Its time you looked at what computer systems can do for you. Really. One group of seven doctors found that their medium sized system paid for itself in eight months. And each successive year of use added net profit greater than the original cost of the system. Some people are reluctant to call because they have no specific application or problem area in mind. That doesnt bother us. If you are on the list or think you might like to know what costs are involved, call us. The reason you should call us instead of IBM, Burroughs or NCR is because we paid for this ad. They didnt. Of course there are more important reasons. All those companies are stuck with only their brand to sell, whether it fits your needs or not. We have a choice of ledgercard - diskette - disk storage computer systems from a choice of companies: Xerox Diablo, Lockheed or Philips. We also provide total support in start up, software and service. We dont just leave you with the equipment and a fond goodby. Well tell you more about what we can do when you call. If you read all this why should you call? Because you need more management information and our systems can supply it. Because we can solve your accounts receivable, inventory control, accounts payable, payroll, or general accounting system problems. Because, very probably, we can save you money. Because that is the only way you can see if what we say is what we do. 9 We hope thats reason enough. BENCHMARK groups. The Multi-Ethni- c Housing Corporation is attempting to persuade the board to sell it 1.1 acres immediately west of the civic auditorium, at 239 W. 1st So., in order to erect a 100-un- it high-ris- e housing project for the elderly. The housing plan is part of a larger multi-ethni- c commercial and cultural complex designed for the entire block between 2nd and 3rd W. and 1st and 2nd So. Salt Palace officials say the land the warehouse now occupying it are vital to the auditoriums operations. The structure is used for storage of props and stage construction material for Salt Palace exhibitions and events. At a board meeting last week, housing director Dave Bigda asked for and was given a voice on the committee chosen to mediate the issue. Committee chairman John Klas said his group would begin immediately to find a solution to the problem, indicating this group is certainly sympathetic to the problems of housing for the elderly, and to the problem of rehabilitating this particular section of town. He said the committee would seek the advice of warehousing experts to determine if adequate alternative warehouses exist near the Salt Palace. Bigda told the board the land issue must be settled within six months. He said at the end of this month his group will file an application with the Department of Housing and Urban Development for project funding, and his group must have a definite site before approval is given. Appraisals on the property in question have assigned it a value between $140,000 and $190,000. Bigda said the corporation has budgeted $160,000 to buy the parcel. Board members mentioned two nearby buildings as pos- sible alternate warehouse sites, but made no recommendation on either. Bigda says location of the housing project on any other site is , INC.
