Net panys earnings were $164,398 as compared with $12,990 for 35-ye- ar 1974. Net earnings per share were 34 cents primary, and 29 cents diluted, compared with earnings of 3 cents a share (as adjusted) for 1974. Sales for the year increased eight percent from $7,637,475 in 1974 to $8,260,713, highest in the companys history. Dave Spickett, Erickson president, said that working capital increased 61 percent from $491,064 to $793,633 and shareholders equity increased 22 percent to $908,429, or $1.82 per share from $499,322 or $1.49 a share. Spickett added, We feel this is a remarkable achievement since 1975 was a disastrous year for the construction industry, and many of our customers in other fields postponed purchases of materials handling equipment because of their decreased earnings.
