' ' X . ' - V , .A s . ; DORIS TAGGART Wednesday evening, August 30th, was an exciting evening for members of the Womens Council and their guests. The group met at Snowbird for a Tram ride and dinner. Mr. Dick Bass of Snowbird and Miss Susie Williams greeted us and showed us around the facilities such as the Steak Pit, the Bird Feeder, the darling shops and the Plaza Restaurant. All thirty of us got into the tram for the most thrilling ride of our lives. We were literally taken to the top of the world and there is a special excitement in being able to see down on all four sides of you. Our host on the Tram (Art) yodeled all the way down the mountain to make it an extra festive affair. After our ride we went to the Plaza Restaurant for a beautifully prepared dinner. Bright red cloths on the table with the added touch of candles and daisy arrangements made a beautiful dinner table. The Tossing of the Salad was something to behold and we enjoyed a delightful meal. Dick Bass showed a short film describing the building of Snowbird and then invited us all over to the Lodge for a look at the beautiful apartments. All in all, it was truly an evening to remember.
