In the communication system we have paved roads and some unpaved roads. also have International Highways, running through the region which connects us with the prlnicpal parts of the Republic, the communication system is good. You may ask me why I explained so specifically our situation, and I may answer you in this way. I believe that the bonds of friendship which we have already initiated between each other can be secured by understanding our actual condition. In this way, we can unite to combat man's common enemy, hunger and poverty. We wish to help others to help themselves and in this way live a more profitable life. We Sanpete County To Hold Meeting The Sanpete County Farm Bureau will hold its annual banquet on March 9, 7:30 PM in the Center-fiel- d Ward Recreation Hall, according to Lee Barton, county Farm Bureau president. Speaker at the banquet will be Leonard H. Johnson, assistant to the Director Natural Resources Division, American Farm Bureau Federation. Leonard makes his home in Salt Lake City. A tribute to the late L. D. Bard-sle- y will be given at the banquet. Mr. Bardsley for a period of nearly twenty years was secretary reasurer of the Sanpete county Farm -t- Bureau. Mr. Johnsons recent appointment to the natural resources division signals an increasing interest in the problems members of Farm Bureau in the west have with water, and the use of the public domain.
