Thousands of women are finding the solution to this dilemma by going into direct sales. Success in direct sales depends more on native intelligence, ambition and a pleasing pearsonality than on experience or education, says Charles E. Nelson, president of the Beeline Fashions, Inc. Nelson shquld know what it takes. His 25 year old company pioneered in the marketing of women's fashions through the home party method of taking merchandise direct to the customer. Today more than 20,000 Beeline stylists conduct home fashion shows, selling more than $50 million in merchandise for men, women and children annually. Nelson has constructed a SQ (Success Quotient) test to help you decide whether you might do well at this type of work. The test is based on the characteristics common to successful stylists. Nelson says that a score of seven or more correct answers practically guarantees success, but a lower score need not rule you out if you work hard to correct your deficiencies.
