Plato described his ideal society as consisting of a ruling class, a military class to keep the first class in power, and a residual class of the masses who would do the work and pay the taxes. John Ruskin taught that in such a society the whole people could be directed to do those things which would.be for their common good ( and the common good would be determined by the ruling class!). Both Plato and Ruskin were certain that this could never be achieved in a free society. Ruskin therefore urged his students (who would eventually inherit vast quantities of British wealth) to use their money to gain political power over the British empire and then extend their influence across the world. The ultimate objective, of course, being the establishment of a world-wid- e socialist society. John Ruskins most devoted disciple turned out to be Cedi Rhodes who left Oxford to carve out an empire in Africa based on a virtual monopoly of the gold and diamond mines. He then used his money to become prime minister of the Cape colony and eventually he became a dominant influence in England. Dr. Quigley says Cedi Rhodes set up his Rhodes Scholarship program in order to bring hundreds of bright young people to Oxford from all over the world and there indoctrinate them in the dream of a ). After global socialist government (pp. Rhodes died, his money perpetuated this program ). Many other disciples of Ruskin joined (pp. the Rhodes project. They set up what they called The Secret Society. They even dedded that evengovernment tually the capital for their world-wid- e ). should be in the United States (pp. 130-131- 131-132- Continued from page 8 Although the inner control group was kept highly secret because of its wealth and increasing influence the policies and propaganda of the sodety was promulgated through its various Round Table Groups which were scattered across the world. In England the Round Table comprised the leaders of the dynastic families who owned the international banks and controlled the Bank of England, also the major industrialists and the key political functionaries. When this group spread its power to the United States, its Round Table Group was given the name of the ). Council On Foreign Relations (pp. To achieve their purposes, the secret Establishment financially penetrated all political parties, bought up or dominated the principal communications media, granted massive quantities of money to colleges or universities and manipulated all of their benefidaries into the same harness so they would feel obligated to push the idea of socialism first nationally, then internationally. When anyone resisted and objected to the the Establishment was in an excellent position to crack the whip so that the poor commoner who had exhibited the audacity to raise his dissenting voice soon found himself castigated in the press, subjected to economic sanctions (or the loss of his job), and otherwise socially quarantined. Dr. Quigley asserts that over the years this became a fantastically successful technique which eventually permitted them to become the virtual (though secret) rulers of England. Liberty. Within four years Thomas was the founder of an important , association that protested Britain's heavy taxation. Again in 1774 Jefferson led another Committee opposing British rule over the American colonies. These were stepping stones for Jefferson, and they led him into the Continental Congress. A UNiaUE APPROACH A recent survey by the pentagon found that 68 of draft-eligibl- e young men fell below grade seven in reading. Most low achievers are not mentally slow, but are impaired by attitudes that convince them that learning is difficult. Ebronix uses a unique system to formulate an individually tailored course in reading, spelling or. mathematics to motivate your child and make learning fun. Success is built into the program. 6 o o o o o o o o FREE DIAGNOSTIC PROFILE Ebronix has developed a new concept to meet the need of students who are behind in school because of deficient skills or poor habits. First, before a child is enrolled he is given a diagnostic evaluation, called a Profile, to determine his present level of academic achievment, and his learning and retention rate. The profile consists of: A recorded sample of the student's oral reading ability. (1) A test of his reading comprehension level. (2) If necessary, a test to determine his writing and spelling level. (3) A test of his mathematical achievement. (4) From these tests Ebronix is able to project an estimate of the time it will take to bring the student to his proper grade level. The program is guaranteed to raise him to the proper level.
