UTAH Dale L Reese, President of Reese Real Estate and Investment Company, 1160 West 1900 South, his announced the partial completion of a new $750,000 office and warehouse complex at 1900 South Redwood Road. Approximately 18,000 square feet of the complex have been completed and are being occupied by Pharmics Inc. and NPS (National Product Sales). When finished in August, 1974, the entire complex will feature five modern areas and a large warehouse 30,000 sq. ft facility. Pharmics, Inc. now occupies a 3,000 sq. ft. office area and a 2,000 sq. ft warehouse facility in the new building. Pharmics, a wholly-owne- d subsidiary of Pharmed Inc., is a manufacturer and distributor of prescription and over - the - counter pharmaceutical products. The company's offices formerly were located at 2469 South Main Street, Salt Lake City. In June, 1973, Pharmed, a publicly-hel- d corporation whose stock is traded 'purchased the drug division of Research Industries Corporation that was formerly Deseret Pharmaceutical. Pharmics currently offers more than 32 prescription drugs and medical products to doctors and hospitals. "Basically, NPS accepts merchandise from trucking lines or retailers, stores the material in its ware- office-showroo- m house, and later offers it for sale to the public at 30 to 70 percent savings on the retail cost," explained Mr. Kelly Farmer, president of NPS. "NPS pffers an easy way for companies to reduce their surplus inventory quickly without needing an expensive warehouse and showroom facility." NPS occupies a large 3,000 sq. ft. showroom in, the new Redwood Road building that is open to the public on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays. Directly behind the modern showroomoffice area is i large 10,000 sq. ft warehouse facility also occupied by NPS. The completed complex will include a parking lot for more than 121 automobiles, plus complete truck loading dock facilities. Construction of the remaining portion of the complex will begin immediately, and comparable facilities will be available for lease in August. Reese Real Estate and Investment Company will serve as the leasing agent for he entire complex.
