Show Young at Heart at Halloween party Young at Heart Club spon- sored a Halloween party last Wednesday evening In the Elk's Club rooms. A buffet supper was served at 6:30 p.m. to 90 members and guests. The program started out with Emma Lewis giving "This is Your Life for Gertrude Hannifin. It was a most interesting one and set the evening for a real fun time. Other numbers on the program were a piano solo by Linda Hansen; piano duet, Linda and Patty Hansen; vocal solo, "Some Day My Love by Bessie Toone, accompanied by Pansy Treloar; accordian duet, Randy Sparrow and Richard Hyde; two numbers by Jolene Schow on the accordian, and Janalee Eastwood accompanying. The door prize was won by Edgar Finch. Community singing and dancing rounded out an evening of fun and good entertainment. The party was voted a huge success by all those attending. Award goes to Sherrie Colovich Sherrie Colovich, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ted Colovich, was- presented with a $5 cash award by the First Security Bank of Nephl for her work in Ann Garbett is the leader of Sherries group. - 4-- H. Mrs. Annie Ewell of Genola will demonstrate making little girl dresses from one basic pattern and give some splendid ideas on trimming. She travels throughout the state giving these demonstrations, and the officers of the Relief Society feel that it will be worth anyone's time to come out and see this demonstration, especially since it could mean helping with the Christmas budget All the ladies interested are given an invitation to attend School Halloween party successful Halloween party held last Friday evening was a decided success. The seniors were in charge of the activities for high school students during the evening. In order to gain admission to the dance, each student had to go through the seniors spook house. But what about the students? The regular order of business was disposed of and an election of officers was held with the following being, elected to serve for the coming year. Leola Farnsworth was elected worthy matron and elected to serve with her were Ernest Farnsworth, worthy patron; Patricia Brady, associate matron; Frank Tuckett, associate patron; Myrtle Theriault, secretary; Vola Nevers, treasurer; Mary Hor- ton, conductress; Virginia Randle, associate conductress; Ted Johnson, trustee. Hie new officers will be in- stalled at the next regular meeting, along with the ap- pointive officers. The past worthy matrons and past worthy patrons were honored at the meeting and were presented with gifts.
