Linda Gourley will be held at 10:00 a.m., preceding the church service. IJD Sscrvices Sunday evening services at the Eureka Ward LDS Chapel were conducted by Elmo Boswell. The opening prayer was given by Carl Sandstrom .and the music was directed by Norma Jameson at the organ, and Susan Sanderson, chorister. Joan Wahlberg was released as Primary- president, and her counselors, Ann Garbett and Bonnie Laird were also releas- ed. Bernice Christensen was released as drama director in MIA. Norma Jameson, president of - Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Long . . . Saturday afternoon in the reka LDS Ward Chapel united in marriage Jenny Lynne Taylor and Arthur Long. The ceremony was performed by Bishop Denton Bartschi of the Eureka Eu- Ward. The bride wore, a gown of white peau de soie, designed with a fitted bodice, long sleev- es tapered at the wrist. embroidered alencon lace trimmed the hemline, the sleeves, and the neckline. The skirt featured a chapel train, and the brides mantilla veil was secured with a headpiece of peau de soie and seed pearls. Re- She carried a cascading bou- quet of orchids, yellow rose buds and white chrysanthemums. Mrs. Mary Lou Draper, sister of the bride, was matron h of honor and wore a gown of green satin with lace bodice. Other attendants were Mrs. Lola Gar-bet- t, sister of the groom, and Miss Eileen Franks. They wore identical gowns of yellow satin with lace bodices. Their flowers were yellow rose buds and yellow and white chrysanthemums tied with green ribbon. Flower girls were Rose Long, sister of the groom, and Stacie Taylor, niece of the bride. Their gowns were white lace over green satin, and they carried miniature baskets of white split carnations. Mike Draper performed the duties of best man. A dinper hosted by the parents of the bride, was given at 4 p.m. in the Memorial Building. In the evening the newlyweds greeted wedding guests at a reception held in the Memorial Building. Mother of the bride greeted guests in a gown of yellow crepe, and mother of the groom selected a light blue suit. Both wore corsages of orchids and rose buds. The wedding party stood in of a green giant curve, floor-lengt- pre-weddi- ng the Erickson home for a few days. f Mr. and Mrs. Jim Toone were in Salt Lake Tuesday evening calling on the family of Armilda H. Bodinc at the Mortuary. She was a former resident of Mammoth. Before returning to Mammoth, they stopped in Murray for a visit with the V. G. Pett family. Mrs. Mystrom returned to Mammoth with Mrs. Erickson and will visit at Relief Society and her counselors, Grace Chatwin and Vivian Stewart .were released. Bernice Christensen was sustained as Primary President, and Virginia Grant was sustained as Relief Society President, as were her counselors, Florence Garbett and Joan Morris. The closing prayer was given by Lauren Thompson. Mrs. Jim Derry and two children, Denise and Patty of Denver, Colo., left Wednesday for Salt Lake, where they will visit for a few days before return- ing to Denver. They have been visiting with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Randle for the past Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Randle and daughter, Mrs. Diane Derry and her two daughters, Denise and Patty, who are visiting here from their home in Denver, made a trip last week to Henderson, Nevada where they were guests of Mr. and Mrs. Tom Randle. They returned home Sunday evening. Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Bauer of Salt Lake spent Sunday here with Mr. and Mrs. Maynard Griggs and Mr. and Mrs. Ron Griggs. Mrs. Lynn Brady and daughter Pam were in Provo on Tuesday, where Pam underwent some extensive dental surgery. husband and wife. mmoutlh Jenny Lynne Taylor recites vows with Arthur Long of Eureka A 6:00 oclock ceremony on August 9, 1968 framed by gold lighted styra-foasections. The center of the backdrop was an arrangement of yellow and green flowers making, an attractive setting. . A short program was presented with Fred Garbett as emcee, which was as follows: a vocal duet by Floyd Gourley and LaFawn Lovell, accordion duet, Jolene Schow and Ricky Chambers; vocal solo, Kim Pannel; piano solo, Susan Sanderson;. toast to the bride, Eileen Franks; toast to the groom, Larry Sanderson. A three-tie- r wedding cake on a revolving base was the center of attraction in the dining area. It centered a small table with nylon net covering and skirt of net over green satin. Jolene Schow was at the guest book and Mary Lou Snyder, Pam McIntyre and Launa Allinson were in charge of the gift room. Girls assisting with the serving were Ora Lee Taylor, Sherrie Kay Snyder and Gwen Gourley. Refreshments, carrying out the theme of the wedding of yellow, gold and green, were served to over 300 guests who came to extend best wishes to the newlyweds. Both Mr. and Mrs. Long are graduates of Tintic High School. After a' honeymoon to Lake Tahoe, they will make their home in Eureka.
