Sprinkle gelatin over pear syrup to soften. Heat ver low heat, stirring, until gelatin is dissolved. Add cranberry ocktail, lemon juice and port wine. Chill until consistency of nbeaten egg white. Pour small portion of gelatin in bottom 2 quart mold. Arrange 6 pear halves in gelatin and allow 3 chill until almost set. Pour remaining gelatin around and ver pears in mold and chill until almost set. Add Avocado oyer and chill until firm. Unmold on greens and serve with layonnaise.
