PROPOSITION NO. 7 LEGISLATIVE COMPENSATION AND EXPENSES SHALL SECTION 9 OF ARTICLE VI OF THE CONSTITUTION OF THE STATE OF UTAH BE AMENDED TO PROVIDE THAT MEMBERS OF THE LEGISLATURE RECEIVE A SALARY FOR THEIR SERVICES IN THE AMOUNT OF ONE THOUSAND DOLLARS PER YEAR, UNLESS OTHERWISE PROVIDED BY LAW, AND AN ALLOWANCE FOR EXPENSES AND MILEAGE. AS FIXED BY LAW WHEN ATTENDING MEETINGS COMMITTEE OF THE LEGISLATURE HELD BETWEEN SESSIONS AND WHEN OTHERWISE ENGAGED IN OFFICIAL BUSINESS. Section 1. It ia proposed to amend Article VI, Section 9 of the Constitution of the State of Utah to read aa follows: Sea 9. Unless otherwise provided by law the members of the legislature shall receive compensation for their services of $1,000.00 a year for the legislative term payable monthly. The members shall also receive expense and mileage allowances as fixed by law for attending sessions of the legislature and e of and joint committees held between srssinns and during periods when the legislature is in adjournment and when otherwise RE-CEIV- E single-hous- engagsd in official legislative buainass. GENERAL ELECTION NOVEMBER 8, 1966 JUAB COUNTY, UTAH Children's party held for daughter Mrs. Leland Sanderson entertained at a childrens party last week honoring her daughter, Cindy, on the occasion of her 7th birthday anniversary. The little people were entertained with a variety of party games, and Cindys mother, served tasty party refreshments complete with a beautiful birthday cake, to Cindy's friends who were, Susie Eastwood, Andy Jo Robinson, Barbara Butler, Mary and Linda Murphy, Bart Wall, Kevin Scott, Diane Milne, Gordon Coulsen, Timmy Hannifin and Freddie Mr. and Mrs. William Roberts of Heber, were in town on Sunday visiting with friends. They were guests at the Howard McIntyre home in Mammoth. Mrs. Rowena Hanks is spending a couple of weeks in Orem at the home of her daughter Mr. and Mrs. and Robert Hassell.
