Show THE EUREKA (UTAH) REPORTER November 27, 1964 Open house held for Ruby Bigler Miss Faye Elton becomes bride of Gene Howard Rosvall Friday Mm Faye Elton, formerly of Mammoth, now residing in Balt Lake City, became the bride of Gene Howard Rosvall in nuptials performed Friday in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. The ceremony was performed by Elder Marion D. Hanks, member of the First Council of Seventy. The bride is a daughter of Mrs. Lillian Drage and the late Adrien Elton. The parents of the groom are Mr. and Mrs. Oran H. Rosvall of Salt Lake City, who hosted a wedding breakfast lmemdiately following the nuptials. The newlyweds were further honored that evening at a reception given by the parents of the bride, Mr. and Mrs. Harold Drage at the Holladay 14th LDS Ward Church. Attending the bride were Mm Paula Gardner, maid of honor; Miss Pat Dyer, Miss Carmen, Miss Suzanne Oviatt and Miss Lynda Drage. Miss Valerie Elton was junior bridesmaid, and Gail Elton and Rene Elton were flower girls. Stephen Smith was best man. Ushering were Craig Rosvall and Terry Rosvall. The couple plan to make a home in Salt Lake City where the groom is attending the University of Utah. The bride is a graduate of the Continental College of Beauty. The Elton ' family made their home in Mammoth for a... number of Officials honored with Ogden dinner Mr. and Mrs. Jay Ghatterton were in Ogden last Saturday night attending a dinner-danc-e given, in honor of the grand exalted ruler of BPOE lodges, Robert G. Pruitt of Atlanta, Ga. Earlier in the day Mr. Pruitt had made visits to Elks lodges in Brigham City and Logan and had conducted an afternoon workshop at the local lodge which attracted lodge officials from throughout Utah. He spoke at the dinner in Ogden and the evening was concluded with a grand ball. Officials estimated more than 600 Elks in Utah took part in the various daytime activities and about 250 were on hand for the banquet and dance. Mr. Chatterton is the exalted ruler of Tintic Lodge No. 711 BPOE. Gratitude is a burden upon our imperfect nature. The Utah section of the American Institute of Mining Engineers celebrated its 50th anniversary. A cocktail hour preceded the dinner and dance. Robert W. Moore was chairman of the event, and James D. Moore is chairman of the Utah Section. Mrs. J. A. Nor-de- Carl Sandstrom were in Orem Monday evening attending a birthday dinner for their son. Bob Sandstrom, with Mrs. Sandstrom as hostess for the nicely arranged Mr. and Mm. . n, Jr., and MM. E. K. Olsen Jr., arranged for the decorations. The dinner was for Elks only. Twit iation and installation ceremonies were conducted at the regular meeting, with the exalted ruler, Jay. Chatterton, in charge. After lodge a buffet lunch was served.
