LDS Services Eureka Ward Sunday evening services at tho Eureka LDS Ward were conducted by Bishop Bartschi. In charge of the music were Mayme Wirthlin at the organ, and Faye Ryan, chorister. The opening prayer was given by John Castleton. The program for the evening was under direction of the Daughters of Utah Pioneers. The address of welcome was given by Captain Nellie Laird; a pioneer poem, Donna Paxman; organ selection, Mayme Wirthlin; pioneer history, Celestla Thompson; vocal quartet, Wanda Colovich, Betty Robinson, Ann Garbett and Donna Paxman. They were accompanied by Norma Jameson. A short history of the pioneers was given by Mary Thomas; closing song, by the congregation, and the closing prayer was given by Elva Webb. - ' Methodist Church Sunday School Sunday School last Sunday at the Methodist Church was under direction of the newly appointed Superintendent, Mrs. Virginia Randle. The Scripture Reading was given by Debbie Ewell; Meditation, Vem Nevers, and organist for musical numbers was Janet Brady. Sunday School is held each Sunday morning at 10:00 a.m. All those interested are invited to attend. Mr. and Mrs. Walter Sutherland, and two boys, Craig Trail Builders' Roundup success; program, plays, dinner held The Trail Builders Round-u- p was held Monday, July 27, In the Eureka LDS Ward. An interesting program and explanation of the work accomplished during the year was presented during the evening. The program was as follows: opening prayer, John Phillips; greetings and welcome, Primary President, Margaret Hyde; Trail Builders Hymn by the congregation, led by Darlene Rynearson, accompanied by Ann Garbett. Ceremony: Explanation of Trail Building, President Margaret Hyde; explanation of Blazer Course and Blazer song by Darlene Rynearson; explan-aio- n of Bandlo by Teddy Haynes; Tree poem by Mrs. Rynearson; March procession I Methodist Church election An Official Board meeting was held last Wednesday evening at the Methodist Church parsonage. An election of officers was the main point of business and newly elected officers are as follows: Chairman, Vem Nevers; vice chairman, V. L. Anderson; secretary, Mrs. Mabel Butler.
