Prizes were won by Mrs. Eugene Laird, Mrs. Vance Underwood and Mrs. Don Well. Tasty refreshments were served to those named and to Mrs. Ronald Nelson, Mrs. He-bFields, Mrs. Arnold Swen-seMrs. Ruby Atherley, Mrs. Richard Bate, Mrs. Fred Roberts, Mrs. Norman Schow and Mrs. Roy Gourley. ' Senator Wallace F. Bennett today listed the locations where Utah testing will be held for students interested in attending the Army, Navy and Air Force Academies. The Utahn said that all of his appointments to the academies are made by competitive tests which are handled by (R-Uta- er n, h) FORMER INSTRUCTOR WITH: fa Wycoff Mtn. the Civil Service Commission. All of the tests will be given at 8:30 a.m., on Nov. 9. For this area, it will be at the Provo Postoffice. Entre Nous The Entre Nous Literary Club met last Wednesday evening at the home of Mrs. Leonard Ryan. Mrs. Robert Thom- as reviewed the book Heaven in My Hands by Alice Lee Humphreys. Following the review a short business meeting was held. Tasty refreshments were served by the hostess to members: Mrs. V. L. Ladies of Elks Ladies of Elks met Tuesday evening in the Elks club rooms. President Leona Laird presided at the business session. After the business of the evening had been disposed of, ' a social hour was enjoyed with Bridge furnishing the evenings diversion. High score was won by Mrs. Frank McCabe, the cut by Mrs. Bob Fife and the raffle by Mrs. Ray Badertscher. Mrs. Heber Cushing, hostess for the evening, served a delicious lunch. Cadet Scouts Cadet Scouts group met Wednesday afternoon in the Memorial Building. They sang songs and learned some new dance steps. A new member, Gail Long, was welcomed into the group.
