Blanding played Grand briday at Moab and then travelled to Green River the following evening. Next Friday, Monticello plays at Blending, and Green River at Moab. Bland mg surprised the hoop followers in the lower section by trimming both Grand and Green River, xhe latter quint was expected to have things almost its own way, but it now looks that the race will-bvery elose. Carbon should have little trouble taking the Hunters into camp. Coach vernon Merrill has his squad functioning in good style now, and they are expected to triumph. The final score was 34 to 21, and except for a temporary third quarter lapse on the part of the winners, it would have been mneh larger.
