SUN. MON. From Broadway to Cheyenne Resolution of Respect For Former President, Voted By Company ORDER OBSERVED ANNIVERSARY OF . Price lodge of Elks observed the anniversary of the founding of the B. P. O. E. with a special program Wednesday evening. The address was given by S. J. Sweetring, who traced the history of the local order since its beginning in May, 1B2B. According to Mr. Sweetring, the permanent organization of an Elks lodge here was the result of a meeting held In 1920, at which time the Eastern Utah Antlers association was formed, the members of which belonged to lodges in other cities. Since its birth," Mr. Sweetring said, "Price lodge has been active in strengthening its membership; active in increasing its material wealth; active in its care and assistance to brothers in sickness and distress; active in all community and social welfare projects and active in everything that recommended itself as for the good of the order. 'The true history of Price lodge is in the making; It has reached the point where it may throw off its swaddling clothes and takes its place in Elkdom along with those lodges which are older in point of time, but not in point of service. The meeting was in the nature of a past grand exalted rulers night, the following past rulers sitting in the various officers chairs: Harold Leonard, exalted ruler; Clyde J. Roberts, leading knight, and Dr. R. G. Wood-hea- d, loyal knight Other chairs were filled by the following: Allan Browne, lecturing knight; Walter V. Pace, esquire; J. Bracken Lee, chaplain; Dr. Lyman Kofford, inner guard. AMPLE FUNDS FOE COUNTY RELIEF UNTIL MARCH Speed Demon Wm. Collier, Jr. Joan Marsh A resolution of sympathy and respect for N. S.
