William H. Mountford of Durban, Natal, South Africa, writes to Mayor Glasmann, under date of April 15th, asking him for Information concerning the whereabouts of William Mount-fort, hia grandfather, who left Staffordshire, England, about the year 1870 and settled In Ogden City. Letters were received from Mountford by his relatives in England up until Decemlier 20, 1874, since which time nothing haa been heard of him. The writer of the letter states that he waa named after hia grandfather and should like very much to hear anything that would put him ln touch with the descendants of hia la this country.
