In the matter of the estate of William Anderson Torrkulla, 5 AN ORDINANCE. An ordinance levying a tax and for the assessment of property on the west side of East Temple street, between North Tem- le and First North streets, in Sewer istrict No. 1, for the construction of a sewer. Be it ordained by the City Council of Salt Lake City, Utah: Section 1. That said City Council does hereby levy the tax and provide for the assessment upon the property hereinafter described abutting on the west Bide of East Temple street between North Tem- First North streets, in Sewer Ele and No. 1. This tax is levied to defray the expense of constructing a sewer upon said portion of said street opposite the property hereinafter described, to be especially affected and benefltted by said improvement, and it is hereby adjudged, determined and established that the same will be espeto the full cially benefltted amount of the taxthereby hereby levied, and said parcels of land are hereby assessed at an equal and uniform rate in accordance with the linear foot frontage upon said portion of said street, fiontlng upon and of a depth of 25 feet back therefrom, and the tax hereby levied and to be assessed upon said parcels of land is eight hundred fifty-eig(9858) dollars, or one and ($1.30) dollars per linear front foot, and the Treasurer is hereby authorized and empowered to assess in accordance with the provisions of this ordinance, for the purpose herein mentioned, all of lots 1 and 8, block 94, plat A, Salt Lake City survey, as the same are shown upon the official plat of said city to a depth of twenty-fiv- e (25) feet back from said street. Sec. 2. This ordinance Bhall take effect upon approval. Passed by the City Council of Salt Lake City, Utah, January 14, 1902, and referred to the Mayor for his approval. J. O. NYSTROM, City Recorder.
