Jennings. All were given in a clear and concise manner. The club adjourned for one week. Hancock opened with a paper on stuDr. dent life in the middle ages. Paden then talked in an informal and altogether delightful manner of the peasantry of Europe. Entering minutely into the characteristics that differentiate the peasant from his urban brother in all lands. The afternoon was enjoyed by all and the Doctor received the appreciative thanks of the Club. The work for next week will be the first chapter on Muscular Sensation, discussion of the eye as an optical instrument, with dissection of the eye and its histology. At the Womans Club on Tuesday, Dr. Orielle Curtis gave a lecture on Progress of Science in the application of Electricity and Aerial Navigation, which was one of the most interesting and instructive programs presented at the Club this year. Extracts will be printed in The Review next week. The Education Section is doing some work this year, quite unique in its way, notably, in experiments.
