A large and enthusiastic audience was present. The Santa Clara Troop enjoyed an overnight hike up Snows Canyon on April 3 and 4. Scout leaders Henry Graff, Rex Frei and Owen Frei supervised the outing.' St. George troop 1 enjoyed a hike on April 5. Scoutmaster B Jarvis Jr. was in charge. The Pole Star troop of St. George entertained in honor of the boys mothers on April 1. It resulted in an easy victory for Hurricane. Thursday night Mr. Larson and Miss Linder aided the Toquerville Faculty in a Parents Teacher Meeting. A new Giant Stride has just been erected. The teachers are finding it difficult to accommodate their pupils with the desired turns. Our track boys have been doing considerable practice lately. We are hoping for victory in the county meet. |
