Club are pursuing their work with greater enthusiasm and more definite objectives in the apppreciation of music. This is being attained not only through the foundational work which is being studied but also through an historical study of the master musicans. It is intended to develop an appreciation for the wonderful efforts 'and achievements of each composer. Each evening a composition of one of the masters is produced for the study and for entertainment. A radio concert was given recently at the home of one of the members, Mrs. Lida Cox Prince. A profitable evening was spent in entertainment and in valuable instruction on the origin and history of the violin, including its position in modern musical productions. A number of violin, other instrumental, band and vocal numbers were heard. The concert was received from several of the outstanding stations in the country. Many such concerts are planned for the future.
