Charges of forgery, it is said, await two of the men county. One is wanted at Salt Lake on a for- ed from the war prison camp at Ft. Douglas, and were captured by Marshal Tony Perry in this city, broke the lock on the Helper jail Wednesday afternoon and are again at liberty. n The prisoners were safe and sound when Perry visited the jail in the afternoon. Twenty minutes later when the marshal in company with a special agent who had come from Salt Lake City to take charge of the prisoners, went to the jail the birds had flown. The cell lock had been smashed as was also the outside lock. From appearances the men had outside help in making their escape. gery charge. The arrest came as the result of their efforts to trade a Buick car, which is alleged to have been stolen at Boise, Idaho, for a second hand Ford and $600 in cash. The car stolen from Boise is said to have had the same kind of tires as the one they attempted to trade here. The number on the motor of the car had been chipped off with a chisel, making positive identification impossible by that means. The men are known as William Gillen, alias Jones, Tom Brown, and C. Williamson, while the wToman is known as Mrs. Wm. Jones. One of the men is also known as Samuelson. ALIEN ENEMIES Y. M. C. A. NOTES A fine audience enjoyed the "Y Sunday night service last week. No other state in the country has laid such a program for the inculcation of health habits and the experiment will be closely watched by the school authorities of many other states. Health education has come at last to be recognized as one of the big factors injthe school life. In other words the school heads have realized that as the healtli of the children is increased, s j is their efficiency advanced. The two are co ordinated so closely that all over the country educators are urging incorporation of direct health teaching as part of the school curriculum.
