Vacations arc fart becoming passe for the year 11)23 and now follows the period of recuieratinn and resumption of the daily tasks. Dad finds it necessary to get up a little earlier and work a little latyr in order to make up for lost time, and there are plenty of things for mother to do. But heres the important part to the business man. Fall in the annual business cycle is usually a period of heavy purchasing which means additional prosperity. In this connection, it should LOCAL BUSINESS MEN PRAISE TRIP be impressed definitely that now is the time the paper needs support more than it will when printed here. We hear the thought expressed by some give more active support when that they would give and willTimes is produced locally. But our goal is reached and the process makes possible the recharging of a battery in from eight to aixteen hours. ENTERPRISE LOCAL BUSINESS print-awa- gven NEW MEANS INCREASED The management of the Times is looking forward most anxiously to the day when the paper can be printed locally. An attempt was made in its early stages, but because of many unexpected difficulties which arose it was thought advisable and in fact found necessary to publish in the city. There are many of our loyal Southeasterners who have y always objected to transferring the money paid for from local business interests. There are a number of influential people whose support of the Times has been rather passive due to this very fact. Bui here are a few which we hope to emhasize most emphatically and points we desire to drive home to the heart of everyone which interested, which means, we hope, every Southeasterner. A printing establishment large enough and well enough equipped with machinery, presses, etc., to print the Times is an expensive affair and requires a lot of capital. In order to procure such an outfit, or in order that a local printing shop can secure it or will be willing to do so, the continuity of publication of the Times must be assured for some considerable time ahead. In other words our paper must be solidly upon its feet financially and in every other way in order to insure printing it locally. After a good deal of careful planning it appears that our desires in this direction are about to reach fruition, and the way is opening up for providing enough capital to have the Tmes printed here in the Southeast very shortly. But just as the paper is dependant upon local support, so are all the plans above mentioned, dependant absolutely upon that same backing. It means that home industries should be patronized, and local concerns given the benefit of the doubt. As is usually the case, those business institutions which and interest in local affairs, have the spirit of whose advertisements are found in our paper, are the most can therefore render the best service. They progressive, and are deserving of our support.
