Ml aeete:Foa9;9!9a4 g The above named springs, while not extensively known to the worM, are very well known to the jieople of Reaver county for the virtue of their curative lowers. These springs are to the jienple of Milford as the spring Silosse was to the jieople of Jerusalem in the year one. For the I Mist 30 years there has not been one ease of any description of a disease treated by the waters from this spring that has not boon benefited and cured. Rheumatism, especially inflammatory, yields to treatment by this water like ice to the August sun. While this water has been analyzed and shows the predominating ingredients to be salt, there is still some hidden virtue that the chemist can not pronounce by the common form of a test in analyzing water. This water, while mineralized, is much different to any other mineral or hot water springs, being a bright blue color and as soft as rain water. No matter how intense the pain, caused by rheumatics, it must yield to the first bath the patient takes takes after reaching the springs. The springs are Incited eleven miles northeast of Milford, in Reaver county, and are nicelv fitted up to accommodate ten or twelve people. The prices are moderate, being from $2 to $3 per day; 8ecial arrangements can be made by the month. The springs are reached by the Salt Lake Route to Milford and by taking a team from there to the springs. Why these springs have not been advertised and brought to the notice of. suffering humanity is something unusual. For years people from tli itato liKvebwtu viMtuk(.twiug wutwMU,ivutll find, south, with inconveniences and heavy expense, when right at home there is n spring without equal for curative powers in this or nny other country. Ten years ngo a Mr. Jacobs wrote a letter to Mr. Win. Armstrong, then at Srnvths ranch, that he would send a friend who was suffering with rheumatics for him to take to the springs for treatment. Mr. Armstrong met the patient at the train on a Sunday morning nnd had to carry him to his house. After breakfast he hitched up his team, arranged a cot in the rear end of his buggy and he nnd his wife drove him to the springs nnd left him to be cared for by n colored lady, and drove back to the ranch. The following Sunday Mr. Armstrong and his wife, anxious to learn how the sufferers condition was, drove to the spring to sec how their friends patient was getting along, nnd on reaching the spring found him out chopping wood and the following week the aticnt walked eight miles to tho train and went home cured. Five years ngo John Taylor of Frisco, from exposure, was taken down with inflammatory rheumatism and in a few days his entire person had swollen to twice its original size suffering with pain and helpless. Mr. Henry Osborn of Frisco arranged a spring wagon with a bed, loaded him in nnd drove twenty miles to the springs. He was carried and placed in the bath tub, and after remaining in the water 30 minutes was taken out, stood up nnd with the aid of one arson, walked to his room and in ten days was cured nnd attending to his daily lnlor. Four years ago J. L. Moore, then assistant freight nml passenger agent for tho S. 1., L. A. & S. L. route, after Uing treated hy the best physician in Salt Lake City for two weeks without relief, was taken to these springs ami cured in one ilav, being nhlo to he at his desk three duvs from the time ho started to the spring, and it has lioen said that the springs did not only cure him of rheumatism, hut made a preacher out of him, at least he is now a minister of the gospel in California. There is scarccly a month in the year that just such eases as the above are not cured by these springs, ns well a n great many other ailment too numerous to mention. It ha been the custom of the people of Reaver county to visit these springs with a camping outfit for all ailments, when they could not find relief from medical treatment. It ia known to have cured rheumatics, eczema, catarrh, dropsy, liay fever, urinary troubles, asthma, gout, female diseases, blood poison, kidney disease, scurvy, delirium tremens, piles, dandruff, lost vigor, and all kinds of blood and skin diseases. It has only been quite recently that the springs have lcen fitted up to take care of and accommodate tho public and are now prepared to make an old man young. These springs can be vouched for hy any person that lias' ever visited them for treatment, and there have Ix'cn very many who have offered to testify to the good these springs have done for people, and nny person requiring treatment to be derived from hot springs can in no place find water more curative than the waters from tliese springs. There is nothing artificial about them and no need heating of water or steam. -- g (Largest jpWestr Automobile Tiros Vulcanlaad. Bleycts Repairing and Sundrlos. Baby Carriage Tiros Put on.
